[VLAN] vlans multicast and igmp problems

I saw another related thread around December 2006, but as the issue was 
later claimed to be related to the application, I am starting a new one.

I am running mrouted on a multicast server, with vlan101 configured. On 
my client I have vlan101 configured as well.

For some reason I cannot seem to get any IGMPv2 traffic to reach the 
client via the VLAN101. If I try a connection via physical interfaces, 
then there is no problem, everything working spotless.

Having googled around a bit, I tried to set ALLMULTI on the VLAN 
interface, as well as on the related physical interface, but alas .... 
no result.

Using tcpdump, I see that the IGMPv2 queries being sent out on the 
server via the vlan101 interface, however nothing ever arrives on the 
client. ICMP (ping) and other traffic over the VLAN are working fine.

Does anybody have a clue what could be the problem?

Does anyone have multicast+igmp running over Linux vlans?
