Smallest system:  FWA7304 from iBase:  price is around $430
  1GB RAM, 1Ghz Via processor, 4 10/100 ports.
  Estimated total bps throughput (tx + rx):  280Mbps
  CF disk for hard-drive, or takes laptop HD
  Rock solid for years.

Medium:  EES-3711, from Tri-M.com reseller in Vancouver, price is around $450
  1GB RAM, 1Ghz via processor, 2 10/100/1000 ports
  VGA, keyboard, etc.  Basically a full computer.
  CF disk for hard-drive, or takes laptop HD
  NIC driver locks up quickly when maxed out at around 350Mbps send and receive on 2 ports
  (PCI-e bus allows high-speed on the NICs!)
  Probably can fix this driver bug, but no time yet.

Big gold Box:  TF-AEC-6920-A4-1010, from Tri-M.com reseller in Vancouver, around $1600
  plus a bit for the power adapter.  Runs off of 9-20V DC, evidently (ie, a car battery)
  Dual-core Pentium, 1.6Ghz
  2 NICs on PCI-E bus (max speed 800Mbps tx and rx on two ports concurrently)
  with 6-port pci-e add-in NIC, can run 4 of those ports at full 970+Mbps tx and rx
  Basically, kick ass networking performance due to sweet bus specs!
  Passive cooling, though with the 6-port NIC and everything maxed out,
  needs some slight cooling or temp goes > 85 deg C
  Currently configured with laptop HD, can also use CF
  1GB RAM, VGA, keyboard, etc.  Full computer.
