Scripting: Modify Wiphy Radio Spatial Streams

Using lf_modify_radio.py

1. Start the LANforge GUI, if not already running
   • Navigate to /home/lanforge/LANforgeGUI_5.5.1
   • Run ./lfclient.bash
   • Select Connect to connect to localhost:4002 Local Machine Address
2. Navigate to /home/lanforge/scripts/py-scripts
3. Run ./lf_modify_radio.py with the necessary arguments:
   • --host: specify the GUI host IP to connect to.
   • --radio: specify the name of the radio to modify.
   • --channel: specify the channel of the radio (this will default to AUTO).
   • --antenna: Specify the desired number of spacial streams using the following selection:
     • 0 : Diversity (All)
     • 1 : Fixed-A (1x1)
     • 4 : AB (2x2)
     • 7 : ABC (3x3)
     • 8 : ABCD (4x4)
     • 9 : (8x8)

Example Usage: $ ./lf_modify-radio.py --host 192.168.0.1 --radio "wiphy0" --antenna 7
